OUTDOOR LIGHTING

What the night hides, we illuminate.

SBT Designs outdoor lighting systems provide a safe environment for entry and exit to your structure. We accent and decorate your home, building, garden, sign, water feature and sport court — without contributing to unwanted light pollution of the night sky. New LED technology gives you energy‑efficient, precisely targeted light on your special architectural features.

Since 1991

Woodland Park to Texas, and home again.

Steve Shepard started SBT Designs in Woodland Park, Colorado in 1991 after leaving civil service. The dream has moved, grown and come home — and it's still going.

1991

Woodland Park, Colorado

Steve Shepard founds SBT Designs after leaving civil service, planting the roots of a hands‑on technical trade in the Pikes Peak region.

1996 – 2011

San Antonio, Texas

The business relocates to San Antonio, operating as a renewable energy dealer for over 15 years and introducing home automation and solar lighting to South Texas.

2011 – Today

Back in Colorado

SBT Designs returns to the city where it began, offering qualified outdoor lighting products and services to residential and light‑commercial customers across the region. The dream lives on.

"We mean business, and we want your business. While outdoor lighting is our primary activity, we're proud to offer qualified IT services during the winter season and in between our lighting work."
